T.A.S.K stands for Teen Age Soulwinning Klub. It is a program designed to train teens how to win others to Christ and provide a weekly opportunity to share their faith.
T.A.S.K. meets every Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 PM in Room 500 (campus_map). We begin with a 15-20 minute training session on some aspect of personal soulwinning. We then divide up into groups of two or three and load the bus. Our Middle School and High School teenagers go out to two different parts of Raleigh each week.
Teens are given a street to canvass and assigned a pickup point. The bus driver and the youth director/sponsor continually canvass the area while teens are going door to door. After the teens have finished their street, they are picked up and taken back to the church or out to eat.
Our teens have led hundreds of people to Christ on T.A.S.K. since it was started in 1986. God's Word commands us to "go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled" (Luke 14:23) and to "preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). These commands are for Christian teens as well as adults. Be obedient this week and share the gospel. Come join us on T.A.S.K.!
