Our nursery ministry allows ladies to serve in their local church while being a blessing to those who need this ministry for childcare during service times. Usually a person serves once per month with babies birth-two years of age, or at the nursery registration desk.

Age Groups

Our nursery rooms are divided according to the age of the children. Child care is available for every regular service of our church and any other church times, such as visitation and revival services.

• Infant A (Birth-6 months)
• Infant B (7-12 months)
• One Year A (13-18 months)
• One Year B (19-23 months)
• Two Year (2-year-olds)

Sunday:

• Sunday School / Adult Bible Studies 9:30 a.m.
• Morning Worship 10:30 a.m.
• Evening Worship 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday:

• Visitation 5:40 p.m.
• Bible Hour 7:00 p.m.

Registration Centers

Beacon Baptist Church has two registration desks for check-in. Each child, whether a regular attender or a visitor, must be registered before entering nursery care. Your child will be placed in an age-appropriate room upon registration. Children birth to 18 months will register at Registration Desk A. Children 19 months through 2 years of age will register at Registration Desk B. Each family should fill out the appropriate information for the child and will receive a pager. The nursery superintendent will call the parent if they are needed during the care of their child.

Facilities

Our nursery facilities are kept clean and neat. The rooms are equipped with age-appropriate toys, rockers and cribs. Each room has a restroom, a baby-changing station, a refrigerator and a dishwasher (so that the toys may be sterilized after each use).
